You’ll have to come to terms with the idea that individuals won’t always respect your boundaries and that sometimes we have to let them go as a result of their behavior. You should exercise caution when setting boundaries, since sometimes they are non-negotiable. Consider the boundaries you establish when creating them. Sometimes we can take things too far without realizing that we are alienating other people. No one is rushing you, so be clear in your boundaries and go slowly. Don’t impose restrictions on others because doing so will make them turn away. Practice setting boundaries to ensure that they are reasonable for both you and other people. There are various boundary types; whichever boundary you choose, be careful what you say because it might o end someone else. Keep your boundaries within reason. Your character characteristics will improve with boundaries. You will continue to be motivated and feel more self-assured. When you feel strong, it is a nice feeling. Set limits with a person you can trust and feel at ease with. Allow them to express their feelings on your boundaries so that you two may then come to an agreement on what you will each do.
